About Our Work

The RNC continues to strengthen and expand its election integrity program as we prepare for the 2026 midterms and 2028 presidential election. This is a comprehensive, nationwide effort built on legal action, grassroots engagement, and operational discipline.

Today, our legal team is actively engaged in over 130 election integrity lawsuits across more than 30 states, focused on key issues including:

• Enforcing voter ID laws
• Preventing non-citizen voting
• Securing mail-in ballot processes
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date voter rolls

These efforts are designed to uphold election laws, ensure consistency across states, and reinforce public confidence in the electoral process.

Legal Leadership and Impact

Our work is already delivering measurable results.

In a landmark case, Watson v. Republican National Committee, the Republican National Committee brought the issue of ballot deadlines before the Supreme Court — defending Election Day and challenging the counting of late-arriving mail-in ballots. A favorable outcome would reinforce clear, lawful deadlines nationwide and help prevent post-election confusion or delays.

This case is just one example of a broader, results-driven effort. Since the start of 2025, the RNC has blocked attempts in New York City to allow 800,000 non-citizens to vote, submitted its largest-ever records request to 48 states to ensure voter rolls are accurate, and secured key victories defending election integrity laws in Texas, Georgia, and North Carolina. Together, these actions reflect a sustained commitment to enforcing election laws, strengthening safeguards, and ensuring accountability nationwide.

A Nationwide Operation

Our legal strategy is supported by a robust, on-the-ground operation.

Through our Protect the Vote 2024 initiative, the RNC mobilized:

• 230,000+ volunteers
• 6,000 attorneys
• Personnel at polling sites and ballot centers 
• 175 lawsuits filed to defend election integrity

This foundation continues to grow. In 2025 and 2026, we are expanding our efforts with a focus on:

• Recruiting poll workers and observers 
• Placing boots on the ground with field staff
• Ensuring compliance with election law
• Monitoring election processes in real time
• Protecting every legal vote at every stage
